What is Wild Swim?

Wild Swim is a competitive team and an eco-swimming community set up with the goal to produce Olympic Medal Winners from India, save our water bodies, and prevent drownings through sound swimming knowledge.

Wild Swim Club currently runs swimming programs at:

  • Cosmopolitan Club, Triplicane, Chennai

  • ​Sai Sports Academy, Chromepet, Chennai 

  • Deep Blue Swimming Pool, Kottivakkam, Thiruvanmiyur

  • Madras Cricket Club, Triplicane 

  • The Presidency Club, Egmore

​

We also host open-water swim sessions at Marina Beach in association with SUP Marina.

Founders

Sharath Mukundan is Founder & Head Coach, Wild Swim Club.

 

Sharath is a National Institute of Sports (NIS) - qualified Swimming Coach with 11 years of coaching experience. Despite being an Engineer, the National Medallist chose to focus on Swimming Education due to his love for the water.

 

He has coached swimmers in ORCA Swim Team, Chennai into National Champions. He also developed the SAV Balakrishna School Swimming Team, Tirunelveli into a state powerhouse. He has also taught 100+ Adults and Seniors to become better swimmers.

 

Sharath is constantly continuing to flow with and challenge the water, and now spends his time conquering seas and lakes.
